As part of our FSU Education, Rabbi Gregory Kotler came to speak with FSU Pesach Project participants. Rabbi Kotler was the first Russian-speaking rabbi ordained by HUC’s Israel Rabbinic Program and did a lot of the groundwork in establishing a Reform movement in the FSU. This is just a clip of the first ten minutes of the program before we moved into the Q&amp;A part of the session.

FSU Pesach Project participants enjoyed a lovely Kabbalat Shabbat potluck dinner together! After a yummy meal, we paired up to read different stories of Jewish people living in the Former Soviet Union, and then creatively share that story with the rest of the group!

Dayeinu in December?!<br/>This was our first Passover Education meeting to help participants think of creative ways to celebrate Passover in the Former Soviet Union! We learned some new songs, sang some old favorites, and were challenged to figure out which items we would take with us on the journey from Egypt.
