Sharing
the Simchah of Pesach
During
Pesach, Hebrew Union College in partnership with the World
Union for Progressive Judaism sends more than 40 students
to the Former Soviet Union to share and lead Pesach celebrations
in Reform Congregations. The students have the opportunity
to create inspiring educational programs, lead Seders and
song sessions, and take responsibility for everything it takes
to make these experiences meaningful for the students and
most importantly the Jewish communities in the FSU.
With the financial support of family, friends and the larger
Jewish communities, this is all possible. Students raise funds
for all aspects of the trip! This tremendous opportunity strengthens
the connections between HUC and Worldwide Progressive Judaism,
enriches Reform communities in the FSU, and connects students
with the rich Jewish heritage found in the FSU.
We hope you will support this student led initiative by making
a tax deductible donation.
